Pranayaam Yoga

 Pranayaam is the conscious awareness of the breath the life force that both energizes and relaxes the body. The term is derived from the Sanskrit word "Prana" meaning "life force" and "ayaam" meaning "extension" . Pranayaam is an integral part of yoga. 

This is a hatha yoga class where we explore a range of traditional yogic breathing exercises called Pranayaam designed to leaving you feeling relaxed and revitalized. Pranayaam has a lot of benefits, it can help you to concentrate better, sleep deeper, lowers your blood pressure and  also reduces the stress levels in your body. Regular practice of Yoga is beneficial in the physical, mental, social and emotional  development .

 My yoga class will teach you the proper breathing techniques and relaxation methods to incorporate into your daily life. We will practice some easy techniques of proper deep breathing with some relaxing stretches. These are simple to follow and can be practiced at home as well.
